| Sonrise Shuttle was
incorporated in 1986 to provide ground transportation needs to
and from Jonesboro Arkansas and the Memphis Tennessee
International Airport. The service originally operated out of a
residence and has grown to a large scale operation over the
years. Sonrise Shuttle Service not only serves the Jonesboro
Arkansas and Memphis Tennessee area, we also serve the Little
Rock Arkansas Airport and surrounding area, Northeast Arkansas
and Southeast Missouri.
Under new ownership of Shirley
Atkinson in 2002, our service not only includes transporting passengers
to and from the Memphis Tennessee International Airport and the
Little Rock Arkansas Airport, but also carrying small packages,
freight, and providing all courier services. Our current daily
courier services include transporting hospital and Doctor
supplies to Memphis Tennessee and Little Rock Arkansas. We also
carry small packages and freight (under 50 lbs.) for area
individuals, businesses and corporations on a daily basis. We
have a nightly run leaving Jonesboro at 9:00 pm going to the
Federal Express terminal at the Memphis Tennessee International
Airport for those packages that absolutely have to be shipped
today.
Future services, to be initiated in
2003, include a proposed office in Memphis Tennessee. With an
additional office located in Memphis, we will be able to expand
our shuttle and courier service in Tennessee and also provide
the same service to Mississippi. We also plan to provide small
group tours ( with group rates )
to special events such as concerts, theatres, ballgames, etc.,
for all areas that we service.
